Creators know what is wrong with this industry. Say it here.
Tejaki™ exists because creators carry the attention and capture the smallest share of what it is worth. We are not going to fix that by guessing. This page is how you tell us what the work is actually like, and how you put it in front of other people who need to hear it.
What is worth sending
What the industry does to creators. Rates that make no sense. Terms written entirely in the other side’s favour. Payment that arrives whenever. Platform decisions that moved your floor overnight. The things everyone in a group chat knows and nobody writes down.
Product feedback on Tejaki. Where the offers do not fit how you actually work, what the dashboard does not tell you, what would make the difference between useful and ignored.
Writing. Creator-led pieces on the economics, the craft, burnout, negotiating, building a business out of an audience. Published under your name, with full credit, on Blowtrumpet or State of Ads.
Research. The creator economy is badly under-studied, and most of what exists was written by people who have never run a channel. Through State of Ads we fund work that takes it seriously — including work that is critical of platforms like ours.
What you get
Your name on your work, and ownership of it. Payment where we ask you to write something for us — if it is work, it is paid, which is rather the point of this company. Access to the people building the product. And creator sessions where your interest is the first-order concern, not a stakeholder to be managed.
What we will not do with it
Feedback has no effect on your rates, your offers or your standing. We will not reward it and we will not penalise it. Criticising us publicly costs you nothing here.
Nothing of yours appears anywhere without your written consent — your name, handle, clips, screenshots, quotes or audience figures. That consent is specific, time-limited and withdrawable. Your earnings are yours to disclose, never ours.
Before you send anything
Invited work — commissioned writing, a research collaboration, a creator session — runs under a written agreement covering scope, credit, confidentiality and payment.
Anything else is unsolicited, and is received on a non-confidential basis under our Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy. That policy is about product and business ideas, not about your content — your creative work stays entirely yours, and nothing there gives us rights to it. The licence it describes is non-exclusive, so an idea you send us remains yours to use anywhere else.
If you have a format or concept you think is genuinely valuable, tell us before you send it and we will consider an agreement first. We would rather do that than have you lose something.
