Editorial Standards & Guidelines
Tejaki™ is a product of Blowtrumpet Technologies. These guidelines apply to everything published on this site and sit under Blowtrumpet’s Editorial Guidelines.
Creators are the people with least power in most publishing relationships in this industry. These rules exist mainly to make sure that is not true here.
1 · Consent — your work, your face, your name
Nothing of yours appears in anything we publish without your written consent, in advance. That covers your name, handle, photograph, likeness, voice, clips from your content, screenshots of your channel, your quotes and your audience figures.
- Consent is specific. Agreeing to one post is not agreeing to a campaign, a deck, an advertisement or a conference slide. Each use is asked for separately.
- Consent is time-limited and withdrawable. You may withdraw at any time, for any reason or none, and we remove or anonymise the material. We will not ask you to justify it.
- Consent is never a condition. Not of your rates, your offers, your standing, or anything else. Declining costs you nothing, and we will not quietly stop sending you offers.
- Your earnings are yours to disclose. We never publish what an individual creator earns, their rates, or their audience data, and we do not confirm them to anybody who asks.
- Your community is not our dataset. Nothing about your viewers appears anywhere, because we do not collect it in the first place.
Licensing your content. Where we licence your work for something — a case study, a showcase, marketing material — it is a written licence with a defined scope, medium and term, and it ends when it ends. We do not take a perpetual licence to a creator’s work as the price of working with us.
2 · Privacy-first disclosure
Everything we publish states it exactly: Blowtrumpet processes no viewer personal data — not minimised, not anonymised, not collected. Creative is composited locally before your stream goes out, so there is no ad call, and no tag, pixel, cookie or device identifier reaches anybody watching.
In the same breath we say that we are a data fiduciary for *you*, because we cannot pay you lawfully otherwise. We will not let the narrow claim drift into a broader one.
Demonstrations and screenshots use synthetic data and invented channels. Never a real creator’s.
3 · Approval and access
You see the full piece before it is published — not a description of it — with time to respond and a named person to respond to. If you want a factual change, we make it. If you want a change of emphasis, we discuss it, and if we cannot agree we do not publish. You get a copy of anything you appear in.
4 · Removal, updating and end of life
We remove or update published content when you withdraw consent, when your relationship with us ends and you ask us to, when a licence expires, when a product or feature reaches end of life, when a policy or product design change makes something untrue, or when we find an error.
Material changes carry a dated note; corrections are marked rather than made silently; pages about retired features are marked historical rather than deleted quietly. Claims about how earning works are reviewed on a regular cycle and whenever a design decision changes.
Requests: editorial@blowtrumpet.com — answered within five working days, and acted on promptly when they come from you about you.
5 · Reuse and republishing
Quote extracts of our material with attribution and a link. Ask before republishing a full piece or translating it. Do not alter it so its meaning changes or use it to imply we endorse you.
Your own content is not covered by any of this. It is yours, and nothing here gives anyone rights to it.
6 · Copyright
We publish only what we own or are licensed to use. If you believe we have used your work without permission — including a clip, a thumbnail or a screenshot — write to legal@blowtrumpet.com and we will take it down while we investigate, not after.
7 · Trade marks and logo use
Tejaki™ and Blowtrumpet™ are trade marks of Blowtrumpet Technologies.
Permitted without permission. Saying truthfully that you work with Tejaki, earn through Tejaki, or are part of the creator programme, using the word mark. Factual reference in reporting, research or comparison.
Attribution: *Tejaki and Blowtrumpet are trade marks of Blowtrumpet Technologies.*
Disclaimer where association might be inferred: *[Your channel or organisation] is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blowtrumpet Technologies.*
Requires written permission. Our logo in your channel art, overlays, thumbnails, merchandise, advertising or site header; any badge, “official” or “partner” claim; use in a channel name, company name, domain or handle.
Never permitted. Altering or recolouring the logo; confusingly similar names; implying sponsorship, certification or partnership that does not exist; using our marks in a way that is misleading or disparaging.
We will give you approved assets if you ask — legal@blowtrumpet.com — and permission is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable.
8 · Disclosure
Where a creator is paid to feature something, it is labelled as paid, prominently, following the Advertising Standards Council of India framework for influencer and creator content. That obligation sits on us as much as on you, and we will not ask you to run anything that hides it.
Commercial interest is declared. Illustrative examples say so. AI-assisted content is disclosed where a tool did substantive work.
